Can two friends sleep together and still love each other in the morning?

This is a film that has held up much better than I actually expected. As directed by Rob Reiner, it's a sweet film with a simple story...indeed, my only wish would be for a more imaginative script...yet, the charm, humor and energy of its stars Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan really carry the film tremendously.

I enjoyed the dialogue, especially when it's strictly between Ryan and Crystal. I'm not going to give a great recounting of this film...it seems unnecessary. Nearly everyone is, minimally, familiar with this film. It's a great date movie, a great friend movie and a great movie for singles, too.

TC Candler's Comment

The best romantic comedy of all time... Period!  I've seen it a dozen times and I'll see it a dozen more.  At one point during the film, Harry and Sally stay up late with each other on the phone while simultaneously watching "Casablanca" on cable TV.  There are only a handful of classic films that would work just as well on a phone date... "When Harry Met Sally" is one of them.  It is also the film that has had me searching for a wagon-wheel coffee table for nearly 20 years!
