Trash...
Guys,
girls, beer, accidental sperm consumption, feces
in face, stereotypes galore, bad acting,
inconsequential directing, lame script... one
good week at the box office... video rentals for
frat boys without dates!
I am getting tired of these all too frequent
gross out teen comedies that fail to evoke even
a single belly laugh. The biggest joke in this
film is Tara Reid, who renews her age old
rivalry with Liv Tyler to see which one can
claim the title 'worst actress of all time'... I
seem to change my mind each time one of them
releases a movie!
This is a vile film with no redeeming value
whatsoever.

One thing
you will learn on Independent Critics is that TC
and I disagree considerably when it comes to
these stupid little teen comedies. I enjoyed
"Orange County," he loathes it. I found this
silly little flick kind of charming, he loathes
it. Get my point? Tara Reid is her usual awful
self here, but there's something about Ryan
Reynolds that makes me smile (no, not the fact
he's sleeping with Alanis Morisette). This film
also has Charlie Talbert, who starred in my
all-time favorite teen flick, "Angus." "Van
Wilder" is your usual National Lampoon flick,
but it works more than most of their recent
films. I admit that the whole bulldog jerk-off
was a bit much, but at least it was unique! Is
this a brilliant film? Of course not. It aims
low, and hits its target.
