The only thing triggered will be suicidal tendencies!

This 1996 film inspired by a Twilight Zone episode stars Elisabeth Shue and Kyle MacLachlan in a story with a remarkably lame premise. The premise is that a couple has to figure out how to deal with each other over the course of a few days during a power outage in Los Angeles.

The film is horridly scripted, and direction by James Burke is chaotic at best. In a supporting role, the usually dependable Dermot Mulroney is left looking like an idiot throughout most of the film.

Shue is horrid here and MacLachlan reminds us why his career went into a downward spiral. Only a few "twilight zone" type moves keep this film from being a complete and utter failure. Still, I wouldn't waste my time on this film.
