Richard Propes' Review

B

Where's my hair gel, anyway?

I remember laughing hysterically the three times I saw this film in the theatre a mere 5 years ago. That said, in a short five years, this film has not aged very well. Quite simply, it's not nearly as funny anymore even though it features hilarious performances by Ben Stiller, Matt Dillon Cameron Diaz...they're all in peak form here, and the script is filled with wild situations and great one-liners...most of which work quite nicely. This is the Farrelly Brothers in prime form, and they keep the pace going nicely while taking jabs at just about everyone. It's funny, entertaining and a great movie rental. Once the novelty of some of the gags wears off, it's not quite as enjoyable to watch but if you've never seen it...well, I recommend it.
