Why is it
when I really need TC's review, he doesn't write one out? It's a disturbing
trend. :) Seriously, I looked at his rating of
this film and was like "what?" What did I miss?
I'm a Mike Myers fan, and I liked the premise of
this film, but for me it largely didn't work. I
rate it average more for the sum of its
parts...it has some decent appearances including
Phil Hartman, Brenda Fricker, Steven Wright and
Anthony LaPaglia. Nancy Travis felt lost in this
film, and funny parts were few and far between.
I read one of the critics on IMDB who commented
on the subtle humor...I saw the concept, but it
just didn't feel like it manifested. This could
be a decent cheap rental but if you're expecting
belly laughs you will be disappointed.
