This
poster was on Katie's bedroom wall!
This film is,
of course, a classic Tom Cruise performance
companioned by a wonderful turn by Rebecca
DeMornay. You also have early performances here
by Bronson Pinchot (Balki from "Perfect
Strangers"), Curtis Armstrong ("Booger" from
"Revenge of the Nerds") and Joe Pantoliano.
A light, well-paced script along with
enthusiastic, energetic cast help keep this film
moving along. Direction is generally solid, but
at times the camerawork appears a bit uneven and
out of focus. It's not a perfect film, but it's
a lot of fun.
