Who
knew that a hottie in a bikini could be so
boring?
"The Pool" is
a 2002 mostly German slasher flick that is
tired, boring and repetitive. The only name of
real note is Kristen Miller, whom you may
recognize as the voice of Lisa from 2004's "Team
America: World Police." The story takes place at
an International High School, but it truly could
have taken place anywhere. There's literally
nothing unique about the story or any other
aspect of the film. While the film's dialogue
is, in fact, in English the obvious European
flair is funny including the product placement
of Heineken.
"The Pool" has nudity and slashing, so if that's
all you require from your slasher flicks then
you may enjoy this film. I found it to be too
much a ripoff of other films and lacking in
anything watchable.
