Outfoxed:
Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism is out on DVD
now. It is available everywhere!
NEWS IS A BUSINESS - AND THERE IS MONEY IN THE
FLAG!!!
"Fahrenheit 9/11" angered most conservatives
before they'd even seen it.
"Outfoxed" doesn't arrive with the same hype and
fanfare of Michael Moore's incendiary
documentary blockbuster, but it is equally
shocking, effective and almost as funny.
I think it would be hard for even the most avid
Fox News enthusiast to hide their embarrassment
after watching this film.
"Outfoxed" is a montage of self-incriminating
footage from the most biased news source in the
world. There are interviews with tons of former
Fox News employees, from anchors to producers,
all of whom expose the inner workings of Rupert
Murdoch's masquerade.
There are hilarious moments in this film, like
the montage where Bill O'Reilly claims on air
that he only ever said "shut up" to one guest in
6 years and then we see dozens of examples of
him telling guests to shut up, including a
family member of a victim from September 11th.
The interview with Jeremy Glick was utterly
depraved on O'Reilly's part, as was the
incessant nature with which he lied about it
afterward. O'Reilly and all of his fanatical
followers will be ashamed after they see the
breakdown of that interview in this film.
Another montage exposes the "Some people say..."
technique which they have mastered to substitute
for journalism. It is a phrase that cannot be
proved wrong in a court of law and so they use
it instead of sourcing actual material. Fox News
uses the phrase "Some people say..." hundreds of
times a week!!!
"Outfoxed" also details the memoranda that was
sent out to all employees every morning citing
what they should and should not focus on... a
virtual theme of the day coming directly from
the White House!!!
No honest person can watch this film and claim
that this is not damning evidence
This film doesn't have the "filmmaking"
brilliance of F911, but it is probably more
believable to the right-wingers. It is virtually
impossible to dispute the facts from this film.
Fox News "PANDERS TO FEAR". They spread fear to
retain their audience and impart their skewed
point of view. And that notion is trickled down
directly from the current administration.
This film highlights all of the unfair and
imbalanced practices of the news channel who
blatantly lies about their fair and balanced
approach every chance they get.
THIS IS A GREAT DOCUMENTARY THAT SHOULD NOT BE
MISSED!!!
**********
AMAZING STATS...
16% of all Americans incorrectly believe that
the US found links between Iraq and al-Qaeda.
But that number balloons to 67% for Fox News
viewers. Even Bush and Cheney have admitted
there were no ties and yet Fox viewers are
utterly confused about the facts.
When asked whether the World favors the US
invasion of Iraq, 5% of Americans said YES. 35%
of Fox News viewers say YES.
33% of Fox News viewers believe we have found
WMD in Iraq despite the fact that we have not.
That number is 3 times the national average!!!

Propes' Comment
I am,
without a doubt, an extreme Michael Moore
fan...I'd border on being a devotee...for me,
this film should be effective with all those who
are turned off by Moore's methods...for those
who believe that Moore manipulates and focuses
more on presentation...this film presents
similar kinds of truths but in a more
straightforward, factual way. Together,
"Fahrenheit 9/11" and this film would be the
perfect double bill.
