Twist-o-rama...

This is the film that David Mamet has been trying to make for a decade. Nine Queens is about small-time grifters playing a con upon a con, hidden by a swindle, disguising a vengeful heist... you get the picture. This film is tons of fun. Witty dialogue and mind games are littered throughout this movie that really lets us in on the con game... we see it from the inside out. There are many types of con artists and we see them all in this story. But who will get the last laugh? Just when you think you've figured it out... another twist!!! Whereas Mamet's films are becoming way too predictable... this is one you'll have fun trying to figure out.
