Oh Rocky, How could I be in this film?

I wanted to like this film, despite only a mild amusement with Tom Arnold...I loved the old TV series, and tend to go for this sort of silly, lame comedy...there's little I love more on a late night...but, this film didn't hold my attention a bit.

This film is boring, absolutely unfunny and a desperate rehash of a TV series to make a few bucks. Fortunately, it failed. The film features an inept Tom Arnold playing McHale...Dean Stockwell...the lovely Debra Messing (thankfully she's moved on to better projects)...David Alan Grier (boy, he's done a lot of stinker films), Tim Curry (will never live up to Rocky Horror, sadly)...French Stewart (Third Rock From the Sun and more stinkers)...Bruce Campbell...an appearance by the original McHale, Ernest Borgnine (This may have been what killed him) and others.

The script is ridiculous, the direction incredibly poorly paced and out of control. Quite simply, this film is remarkably unenjoyable.

TC Candler's Comment

I smiled twice during this film... and chuckled once.  That's not good enough.
