An African-American version
of Patrick Dempsey's charming "Can't Buy Me
Love?" Hmmmm...could it possibly retain the
charm, the spirit, the fun of the original?
Nope.
Nick Cannon and Christina Milan star in this
2003 remake, and garnered all kinds of Teen
Choice nominations for the film...proving, once
again, that the future of the world is in
jeopardy if this is really the kind of crap that
teens today consider solid entertainment. I
consider this film's semblance of popularity a
frightening statement.
