Spicy Chile...
Here is a Chilean film
that probably flew under your radar when it was released on DVD. This
energetic film simmers throughout with a three-tiered structure
reminiscent of “Rashomon” and a style that harkens back to Tarantino’s
first few films. Dark and intense, “Los Debutantes” comes to a boil in
the final scenes. It makes for a thrilling DVD rental and you should
make an effort to seek it out if you missed the limited theatrical
run.
