Je ne sais pas pourquoi...

Another Eric Rohmer masterpiece, this time focusing on the power that women have over men and the vanities that each share. Politoff and Bauchau are electric in this talky and philosophical meditation on male pretense and the female understanding of manipulation. I loved the abruptness and power of the final scenes.
