"Harry
Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" is more fun to watch than it's
predecessor. The original was solid entertainment, but this one is a
bit better.
The first reason: the kids have matured as actors and are more fun to
watch.
The second reason: the visual effects are better and the action is
faster and about as brutal as a children's film can get.
The third reason: the wonderful cast of adults is added too with
Kenneth Branagh, a Shakespearean trained actor.
The fourth reason: the script does not follow the book to the word. It
instead follows the basic story, but makes good judgment to what to
add and what to cut.
As I said in my first review: Your kid will love it and so will you. |

TC Candler's Comment
I think
this is a somewhat weaker entry in the series.
There is nothing really too bad about the film,
but hardly anything special either.
