Costner + Baseball = Sentimental Drama
This is a prime example of how much Costner
loves seeing himself on screen. There are
countless close-ups of him in this rather slow
film. However, Preston gives a nice performance
and the romance is quite compelling. This is a
borderline recommendation. If you can handle
about 500 shots of Costner in deep thought
without vomiting, then you may be able to
stomach this movie.
