Cindy
Crawford and William Baldwin star in 1995's
"Fair Game," a not quite fair film with the
remarkably blase' plotline of cop on the
edge/dangerous woman (geez, we've never seen
that done before). Crawford certainly has a
presence, but that doesn't necessarily translate
into a film career. Judging from HER three
Razzie nominations for this film, I'm not the
only one who understands the difference. (Worst
Actress, Worst Newcomer and Worst Couple with
Baldwin).
This film is also memorable for its remarkably
inaccurate trailer, which featured an inordinate
amount of scenes that did not end up in the
final product. On the plus side, we do have an
appearance by Salma Hayek AND even if Crawford
can't act...well,she does have a presence and
she is cute. (though her chemistry with Baldwin
in this film did nothing to slow down the rumors
about her sexual orientation).
"Fair Game" is a below average action flick that
makes for a fairly lame video rental for all
except the very hardcore Cindy Crawford fans.
(or the three hardcore Baldwin fans).
