"Fool me once... shame on you. Fool me... uhh... Ya fool me, I can't get fooled again." - George Dubya

I will keep that in mind Mr. "President". Thanks for the warning!

Contrary to what you may think, this film is not intended for conservative eyes. They wouldn't be able to watch it with an open mind anyway. Most of them will prefer to attack this most patriotic of films without ever having seen a single frame of it. This film is meant to do three things: Stir up heated debate among all Americans; Rally the Democratic base to action; Affect the "swing voters" who may still not know all the facts and haven't decided who to vote for in November 2004. The extremist Christian conservative republicans won't allow themselves to be affected by the amazing scenes in this masterful film. There's no real point in them even trying to debate this film because they are incapable of watching it like the rest of us. They are like little children, eyes closed, fingers in ears, screaming "lalalalalalalalalalalala" until the truth goes away.

'Fahrenheit 9/11 is an often hilarious and occasionally heartbreaking peek into the most dangerous administration that this great country has ever known. This incendiary film highlights all the horrific inadequacies of the Bush family and the friends who surround them. And those friends include the Saudi Royals and members of the Bin Laden family who have given the Bush family over $1.4 billion over the last thirty years.

The shocking Bush ties to the Middle-East and their loyalties to corporations like Halliburton and Enron are brilliantly exposed by Michael Moore in ways that will have you alternately laughing and jaw-droppingly dumbstruck. Moore is able to shine an illuminating light on the only administration in US history that has more than half of this great nation scared to death.

The film is detailed and thorough in ways that the mainstream media is reluctant to be for fear that they may appear un-American and therefore lose valuable ratings. Moore is able to expose the Bush connection to the Bin Laden family via the name of James Bath... a name that the Government was desperate to keep a secret.

Some may say that Moore is taking cheap shots at Bush by making him look corrupt and moronic. But believe me when I say that all the clips of Dubya in this film are self-indicting. You will absolutely shake your head in disbelief at all the various soundbytes and clips that don't get shown by CNN, Fox or the Network News. Bush has an extraordinary habit of shooting himself in the foot every chance he gets.

I loved the montages where Bush, Ashcroft, Powell, Rice and Rumsfeld are caught saying one thing and then saying the opposite a little later on. I loved the exposition of the Bush policy before 9/11 and after. This film makes this administration look like depraved liars intent on keeping their immense financial and political power by using fear to keep the public at bay.

'Fahrenheit 9/11' is one of the very best films I will ever see! This is true for many reasons. It is a truly patriotic film that desperately wants to change America for the better. It is a gloriously humorous film that puts most Hollywood attempts at comedy to shame. It is heartbreakingly touching to see the REAL effects of war on individual families from both sides of the battle. This film doesn't make war seem like a video game... it shows war to be a ghastly and horrific venture that should only be used as a desperate last resort.

The use of music and sound in 'F911' is masterful, making you laugh moments after you cry and vise versa. Sometimes that can be a very uncomfortable feeling. At one point the film breaks away from tragedy to show Britney Spears telling CNN's Tucker Carlson that we should all support the President no matter what. Minutes later we watch a dead burnt infant being tossed into the back of a pick-up truck after a military strike.

This film will have your emotions twisted into a pretzel and, at the end, you won't know whether to feel angry, sad, impassioned, proud, ashamed or disillusioned. But I guarantee that you will feel the urge to vote this November stronger than you ever have before. That alone makes this a great film, a masterpiece, and a message of hope. 'Fahrenheit 9/11' will win three more things in the coming year, after having won the Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. It will win worldwide praise from the public. It will win an Oscar in February of 2005. And most importantly of all, it will hopefully win the country back in November from a sick and depraved tyrant who can't utter a complex and multi-syllabic sentence without stumbling over his own stupidity.

Congratulations Michael Moore!

Richard Propes' Comment

It doesn't matter that I am an avid fan of Michael Moore. It doesn't matter that I am a loud and unashamed liberal who finds myself in line with Moore's stated goal of getting George W. Bush out of an office he never should have received in the first place. These things simply don't matter in my review of "Fahrenheit 9/11." I am able to put my personal feelings, thoughts, ideologies and politics aside...and I still say this is one of the best damn films I've ever seen. "Fahrenheit 9/11" received the second loudest round of applause I've ever heard during a film following my viewing with a packed house here in Indianapolis, the epicenter of Republican Heaven here in Indiana. The loudest round of applause I've ever heard for a film? Moore's Oscar-winning "Bowling for Columbine."
