Just as
good as part 1, but with a slightly bigger budget and more humor. A
dark comic edge coats the entire movie, so it is not scary...but it is
hilarious. Who doesn't want to see Bruce Campbell fight his demon
possessed hand in a scene taken straight out of a "Three Stooges"
film? I didn't think I did, but after this, I think everyone should
see it, because it's very funny.
Once again, not for the squeamish (in other words, mutilations,
chainsaw attacks, decapitations, etc. should be an okay thing with you
if this is even an option to watch). But it is all good fun and it
never tries to rise above what it is: an entertaining, comic/horror
film with no redeemable qualities.
But that's what makes it fun |
