E.T. Phone Home... |

Charming and pleasant, "ET" broke box office records and bolded
Stephen Spielberg's position on the Hollywood map. Charming and
pleasant are nice, but for me, they have to have a little more
substance than "ET" contains to have a real impact on me.
Everyone knows the plot: a young boy befriends a small, cuddly ugly
alien whom he names ET. They share some times before the government
finds out and we reach our famous flying bicycle conclusion.
A nice film to watch, but you'll never see it in my DVD collection
(most likely).
