"Supermodels are beautiful girls, Will. A
beautiful girl can make you dizzy, like you've
been drinking Jack & Coke all morning. She can
make you feel high, full of the single greatest
commodity known to man... promise. Promise of a
better day. Promise of a greater hope. Promise
of a new tomorrow. This particular aura can be
found in the gait of a beautiful girl... In her
smile, in her soul, in the way she makes every
rotten little thing about life seem like it's
going to be okay. The supermodels, Willy? That's
all they are... Bottled promise. Scenes from a
brand new day. Hope dancing in stiletto heels. A
beautiful girl is all-powerful and that's as
good as love. That's as good as love!"
This film reminds me
of a girl named Tabitha Morgan Pressler.

I must
confess something rather embarrassing. I forgot
this film. I forgot everything about it. I
couldn't remember the story, the plot line, the
characters or anything. So, when I initially
rated it a B- it was an impulsive rating based
upon the fact I knew I had seen the film and
didn't quite embrace it the way others had.
I re-watched
film once I knew I needed to write some comments
on the film and, wow, it's not the film I
remembered. This is a film that is so easygoing
and friendly that it sort of slips by and
definitely slipped under the box-office radar.
It's the sort or film that prefers human
interaction to dramatic distraction. It's sweet,
affirming and just a good film to watch (though
I can't quite justify an "A" range rating).
