Mmm, Virginie...
What starts off as a film drenched in
possibility becomes utter lunacy. This movie
makes a horrible wrong turn about three quarters
of the way through and literally becomes a video
game version of "Apocalypse Now". If this film
had been played straight up it would have held
much of the power it worked so hard to generate
in the first hour and a half.
You can tell
when a film has gone wrong when you look at a
bikini clad woman such as the one above and you
still cringe because it reminds you of the film
itself. Sad, sad indeed.
