Save
your money!
Aside from
one of the worst titles in the history of
cinema, this film suffers from a multitude of
ailments. Logic is non-existent, the dialogue is
inane, the plot is confusing and silly, and the
explosions are so enormous and numerous that it
is hard to believe.
The only things this film has going for it is
Lucy Liu prancing around in slow- motion while
wearing a skin-tight leather outfit & a few
decent and innovative action sequences. This
film is visually slick and cool but,
unfortunately, that's not enough to merit a $7
ticket, a $3 bag of popcorn & a $2 Coke.
At least it was better than Vin Diesel's 2002
bomb, 'XXX'. Maybe next time the two franchises
could combine to make one film called 'Triple X
vs. Sever'... it could save us all a trip.

I'm not
even sure why I rented this film. It stars
Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu...neither of whom
do I enjoy typically. I'd even read the reviews
that generally trashed this film. Aside from a
hideous title, this film is cursed by a boring
script, lifeless performances from its stars and
shallow direction by Wych Kaosayananda. Truly,
it's simple. Don't waste your time on this film.
