Perhaps
my generosity is too great. Perhaps I'm just losing my mind. Maybe
"Back to the Future" was the movie that I literally grew up on. Maybe
that's why I give such a positive rating. I watched this all the time
when I was a kid (and the sequels), and when I saw the trilogy on DVD,
I did some serious soul searching and decided to make the purchase. To
my great surprise, I found myself loving them more than ever!
"Back to the Future" is a movie about a teenager named Marty (Michael
J. Fox) whose mad scientist friend, Doc (a wonderful Christopher
Lloyd), invents a time machine Delorean. Things go awry, and soon
Marty is sent back to the 1950s, where he proceeds to royally screw
things up. You see, he meets his teenage mother and she falls in love
with him! From then on, it's a race to get her to fall in love with
his father again, otherwise, he'll never exist!
Great fun. No, better make that wonderful fun! |

Propes' Comment
This movie sealed my crush on Lea Thompson, and
solidified my positive impression of Michael J.
Fox. Crispin Glover also displayed the wild
diversity of his talent in this film.
