Everything that made the first "Babe" such wonderful entertainment has
been stripped, and we are left with a twisted mess that insults not
only the minds of those who are watching it, but their basic souls.
The real animals used in the original are gone. Now we have
animatronic animals that do not look real. The returning characters
are now hollow shells; they are simply creatures to participate slap
stick and gross kid comedy. A vile excuse for a film. |

Perhaps I
am less disappointed by this film because I was
less impressed by the first? Who knows? I still
found this completely unnecessary sequel to be a
blip on the family movie radar. Jacob is really
right on the money here...what's present in this
film is devoid of soul and devoid of charm.
While I was less than thrilled with the original
film, I could at least acknowledge it had a
certain sweetness to it. This film? This has no
purpose, no soul and no entertainment value.
