| Why would I bother to so
blatantly publicize such a festival? Well, yours truly...Richard Propes
is one of Inconjunction's featured speakers and will presenting and/or
co-presenting four workshops throughout the weekend.
On Saturday at 10am, I will join three other presenters in a
roundtable discussion on "Online Communities" and their impact on our
relationships and daily lives. Later on Saturday, at 6pm, I will join an
incredibly exciting panel of successful writers in presenting "Writing
Styles & Structures Other Than Fiction Novels."
On Sunday at 10am, I will join noted author James Dorr for a "Poetry
Roundtable," while at noon I will be the sole presenter of "Internet
Film Criticism," an hour-long look at how to make it as a primarily
web-based film critic.
The festival will feature noted authors such as Lori Skov-Hansen,
James Dorr and Indy-based Lou Harry, editor of "Indy Men's Magazine."
Additionally, writer/director Steve Latshaw will join special effects
guru Mike Moore and several other Hollywood science fiction/fantasy
experts including Emerson Spartz, who started "Mugglenet" when he was a
mere 12-years-old and Melissa Anelli, the webmistress for the-leaky-caudron.org.
Inconjunction attracts thousands of attendees each year with its
fan-friendly, widely diverse approach to science fiction/fantasy. The
festival offers nearly constant programming over the three-day period
and screens numerous films and offers concerts throughout the festival.
If you're in the Indianapolis area this weekend, I strongly encourage
you to attend "Inconjunction" and stop by one of my workshops.
Additionally, you can visit the "Tenderness Tour/IndependentCritics"
booth!
